I’m most inspired by unexpected connections with strangers, or people whose work goes unnoticed. I turn these moments into portraits, which I later gift to the person who inspired them as part of an ongoing series called Seen.
When night falls, my focus shifts inward. I explore the tension and vulnerability people carry but rarely express. These works are more psychological, where what’s hidden is brought into form.
Not everything I make is heavy. There’s also humor and whimsy in my work — a reminder to not take life too seriously.
At my core, my work is about seeing people and emotions clearly, and giving them a form others can feel.
